Our Advocacies

   At CCLFI we advocate greater awareness by people and by organizations, giving more and better choices, and leading to change: Awareness —> Choice —> CHANGE. The global knowledge economy demands significant changes (or “paradigm shifts”) in how we think and act. Knowledge management provides excellent opportunities to practice new ways of looking at and managing organizations, for enhanced productivity, innovation, competitiveness and value creation.

     We advocate, for the Philippines:

  • A national strategy for competitiveness in the global knowledge economy, which includes;
  • Filipino men and women providing knowledge-based (mind plus heart, or expertise plus caring) services and enterprises for the rest of the world, whether online or face-to-face;
  • Recognition of greater importance of intangible assets of so-called “poor” communities, and the role of women especially mothers in the build-up of the intangible wealth of nations;
  • Application of KM for poverty alleviation/eradication;
  • Application of KM, learning and innovation for corporations, government agencies, civil society and other organizations.

     In Asia and globally, CCLFI advocates:

  • Knowledge-based development of society, not just a knowledge-based economy
  • Knowledge for poverty alleviation/eradication
  • Application of KM, learning and innovation for corporations, regional/international development institutions and other organizations, including
  • The importance of mutual awareness of mental models, beliefs and assumptions in managing conflicts and in leveraging diversity for planetary healing and growth.
