KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT COURSE FOR BAGANUUR JOINT STOCK COMPANY MANAGERS AND EXECUTIVES

        In June-July 2006, CCLFI.Philippines provided a one-week KM course for upper-level managers of the Baganuur Joint Stock Company in Ulaanbator, Mongolia.

        Prior to the course, translations to Mongolian of Powerpoint presentations, course materials and course directions were made. A course co-instructor and interpreter during the workshop was identified from the Mongolian National Productivity and Development Centre.

        A high point during the course was a demonstration on how to elicit tacit knowledge, where three company managers known and recognized as excellent motivators of their subordinates were selected. The three were engaged in an interactive and moving session with the participants as they told stories of how they motivated their people.
